Laval group booking

The Bfly Laval center has 4 magical activities:

• The butterfly aviary : Begin your visit with an animated film in the cinema. This original concept from our Quebec based company promotes self-development in children and is only available in french. Next, you’ll be invited into a space comprised of four domes decorated in the magical world of Bfly. Be warned, it’s hot in the aviary; nearly 28 degrees Celsius (82 degrees Fahrenheit). You’ll be given a foam flower to attract and feed the different butterfly species. There are also explanatory panels in addition to a 5-minute animated film about the butterfly life cycle, also in french. Finally, you’ll also see our chrysalis nurseries where you might be lucky enough to witness one of our butterflies “emerge.” This area is wheelchair accessible.
• The playground : The enormous playground is made up of numerous stations and nooks for letting loose. The space is clearly visible from the mezzanine, allowing you to supervise your group, with a single entrance and exit. We also have a toddler area for children aged 0 to 3 years, large enough to accommodate a group.
• The mini golf : The mini-golf course consists of two 9-hole sections for a total of 18 holes. The first 9 holes feature various animal statues, some of which move! There are numerous slopes, making it challenging for all ages. The 9-hole night course has no slopes (except for the last hole) or moving animals, but it does offer a chance to enjoy dazzling fluorescent effects.
• The Mirror maze : This experience is not available for groups due to safety reasons. If you wish to add it, you will be required to maintain a minimum child-to-adult ratio of 1:3, and the cost is $5 per person.

To offer you the best experience, we limit group booking dates. Here are the times when we cannot accommodate you:

• Weekends ; Saturday and Sunday
• March break (please note that school boards do not all have the same dates)
• Summer break from mid-July to mid-August
• December school holidays (Christmas and New Year’s)

To be considered a group, you must be an official business such as:

• School
• Daycare and Early Childhood Centre
• Day camp and summer camp
• Senior residence or long-term care facility (CHSLD)
• Travel agency or tour group

The following are not considered groups:

• Large families
• Several families traveling together
• Groups of fewer than 9 people

Please note that online booking slots are blocked after one group reservation. If you wish to book and the day is already booked by a group, please contact us by email.

For an official quote, you can use the online booking system to get the amount or contact us by email. Please note that your slot will only be officially reserved upon payment of the 25% deposit.

Dining Area : We have two large areas to accommodate you: our common area and the private mezzanine area. Please note that large groups will be divided into smaller groups for mealtimes. No microwave is available for heating lunches. We recommend avoiding glass containers and common allergens.

Lunch Box Area : A designated area will be provided for your lunch boxes, but please note that it is not refrigerated.

Cloakroom : When you book with your group, you automatically have free access to the cloakroom. Please note that boots must be left in the cloakroom, so each child must wear socks. We sometimes have socks available on-site, but this is not guaranteed, and they will be charged at $2 each per pair for your group.

The duration of your visit depends on the package selected. Here are the approximate visit durations:

• Discovery Adventure: 2 to 3 hours (meal time included only with the 3-hour package)
• The Great Adventure: 4 hours
• À la carte:
  • Aviary only: 30 minutes to 1 hour
  • Mini-golf: 45 minutes to 1 hour 30 minutes depending on group size
  • Aviary and mini-golf: 1 hour 15 minutes to 2 hours

Here are the differences between the Bfly Laval and Bfly Brossard :

• Aviary: Smaller than the Brossard aviary, the Laval aviary allows for closer interaction with the butterflies. The space is divided into four domes, each with a nursery and information panels.
• Playground : The playground and its 0-3 year old section are much larger at the Laval center.
• Other activities : Mini-golf is exclusive to Laval, while the treetop adventure course is exclusive to Brossard.
• Crystal quest : The crystal quest is not available at the Laval center

Deposit : A 25% deposit is required upon booking to guarantee your reservation. This deposit is non-refundable.

Final Payment : Final payment is due within 30 days of your visit. A 2% monthly late payment fee will be added to invoices not paid within the specified timeframe. You can pay by check, bank transfer, or direct deposit.
